The Fidelity Review
Organizations frequently seek CTI training because it is evidence-based and has a reputation for producing better results. To correctly capture those outcomes, a CTI program should first go through a fidelity assessment, which assesses how closely providers adhere to the CTI model in reality. In an ideal world, an organization would perform a fidelity assessment once a group of clients has completed all phases of their CTI intervention. This might range from 6 months to a year after a successful implementation, depending on the length of the intervention. Participants will receive the following benefits from this training:
- The fidelity review technique and measuring instruments.
- Documents used to collect and evaluate data.
- An explanation on how to utilize the Fidelity Scale, developed by researchers at the CUNY/Hunter College Silberman School of Social Work's Center for the Advancement of Critical Time Intervention Training.
- Instructions for writing a narrative report.
